Method 2: Transcutaneous Lower Blepharoplasty (with skin removal)
This surgery is usually reserved for individuals in their fifties to sixties where excess skin of the eyebags is coupled with significant laxity. The procedure involves removing a strip of skin just below the lower eyelash margin. As with most invasive procedures, there is a longer down time in terms of healing and the need to remove stitches. However, the results can be very dramatic if it is performed with a mid face lift in the same setting. Wrinkle lines below the lower eyelid are usually reduced significantly. The procedure is usually performed under intravenous or general sedation.

Eyelid surgery improves the appearance of the eyelids, for any person who wants to look younger and fresher without making drastic changes to his or her face. Eyelid rejuvenation also improves the visual field should sagging obstruct the field of vision.
Hi Eyelid Surgery,
We somewhat agree to your first statement that eyelid surgery improves one’s appearance. But disagree to the second. If the sagging and droopy upper eyelids (Ptosis) are obstructing vision, diagnosis and surgery to correct the muscles by an ophthalmologist is crucial.
We think that people with congenital or acquired Ptosis needs proper surgery to treat the root of the problem, rather than skin deep beauty treatments.
